As you may know, Carefree Society is embarking on a new journey, one that will help universal access to nature, recreation, arts, culture and heritage.
The Carefree Service, a destinations-based socially inclusive transportation tour experience, will begin its inaugural tours this summer.
Our commitment is to make services accessible and include everyone, particularly anyone with mobility and/or abilities requirements. The door-to-door tour gets you out to specific destinations that you might not otherwise visit: Ancient Forest / Chun T’oh Whudujut Park, West Lake, Huble Homestead, and beyond.
The Carefree Service is a warm, welcoming environment: a safe, reliable, stress-free transportation service and amazing tour experience; embracing social inclusion and connection, and enriching lives.
We are currently canvasing stakeholder groups, conducting information sessions (as a ‘roadshow’) to present the initial tour plan, learn more about peoples’ needs, for destinations, supports, affordability of the service, and begin our sign-up list.

As we pursue the best ways of sustaining this service, we will deliver individual and group service to scheduled destinations, and for dedicated group activities and events.

We have posted part time positions for Shuttle Drivers to run door-to-door tours, and
a Program Coordinator to run the new program and operations.
